The Normal w/minor variants were Trace Mitral regurgitation, ↑AO Sinus, Small PFO, Tricuspid regurgitation, Erratic sinus rhythm, Borderline long QT, Axis deviation. Abnormal findings were: Bicuspid aortic valve and thickened mitral valve leaflets. We encourage parents/kids to follow up with their family physician to seek treatment options. Our goal is to help kids get the treatment they need to keep doing the things they love……. Especially sports!
We trained 150 kids and parents hands only CPR and AED awareness. Thank you to Eastview Youth Hockey for remembering Patrick and creating this tournament. Thanks to the teams’ managers, parents, and players for taking the time to step away from competition and allowing us to check their hearts. Thanks to all our volunteers! The Play for Patrick moving company, who set up and take down at each screen. Our non-medical volunteers help get kids in/out, record data, and fill in wherever they are needed. Our medical professionals share their expertise in identifying high blood pressure and normal & abnormal heart conditions. Our next heart screenings are Saturday, April 20th at Northfield High School in Northfield, and Saturday May, 18th at Eastridge High School in Woodbury.
